TPA, a leading consultancy company operating in the areas of taxes, keeping accounts and audits, has been placed among the three best participants in the Accounting Firm of the Year 2020 competition, which awards companies and individuals operating in the area of accounting. The ceremonial announcement of the results of this year took place in the context of an online gala evening on Tuesday 1st December. Jana Vítková and Petr Karpeles took the award for TPA.
“We deeply value the success in the Accounting Firm of the Year award and view it as recognition of our work. We are especially pleased that our efforts in digitalization, which we began more than ten years ago, have proved to be the right path. In the times of the pandemic, this has become yet more apparent. Digitalization not only saves the time and resources of our clients, but provides them with an important advantage in the form of instruments for coping with the limitations connected with the pandemic,” said Jana Vítková, TPA Partner, about the award.
Practically any corporation that fulfils the nomination criteria can enter the Accounting Firm of the Year competition organized by Wolters Kluwer and conducted under the auspices of the Chamber of Certified Accountants and the Union of Accountants of the Czech Republic. Among them is especially the requirement of providing accounting services as a main activity and further, activity on the territory of the Czech Republic for at least five years or demonstration of economic stability. The jury selects the winning trio of those awarded from the entries received, based on information on individual firms and client references. In previous years, companies such as CESORG spol. s r.o. or SLUTO s.r.o. succeeded.
