The TPA group, a leading company in the area of tax consultancy and audit, has supported with the amount of CZK 40,000 the operation of Dětské krizové centrum, which focuses on aiding endangered children and their families. The funds will help in the operation and further development of Urgentní krizové pomoci (tr. Urgent crisis aid), under which Linka důvěry (tr. Confidential helpline) falls.
“I’m very pleased that TPA has supported Dětské krizové centrum this year as well and that it has kept with the previous tradition. We truly value the work which this non-profit organization does, and view it as highly necessary, and we even consider it indispensable especially in this demanding time. For this reason also, I am pleased that we can contribute towards its activities to at least a small extent,” said Markéta Schück, TPA partner, with reference to the donation.
Dětské krizové centrum has been operating continuously for almost thirty years. It provides immediate aid to endangered children and their families in several different areas. It focuses primarily on providing psycho-social aid specialized in life-crisis situations, especially to children or their entire families. Dětské krizové centrum likewise operates a non-stop Linka důvery (tr. Confidential helpline) to which children and adults can turn in the event of need; it offers legal advisory services and necessary out-patient care in the area of clinical psychology. All the services of Dětské krizové centrum are provided to clients free of charge.
